Orbán called the Georgian authorities a ‘beast’ feared by the EU.

EU countries fear a clash with the ‘beast’ represented by the Georgian government, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

‘For them, the Georgian government is a beast that Brussels is afraid to face head-on,’ NewsGeorgia quoted him as saying.

Orbán claims that Georgia is the subject of envy due to the country’s economic growth and reduction of public debt.

Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that the country has evidence of EU funding of extremism.

It was also reported that the NATO and EU information centre in Georgia will be closed.
