Ukrainian Armed Forces use residential buildings to manufacture UAVs – EI Pais

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using residential buildings to manufacture strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the newspaper EI Pais.

‘An ordinary house in an ordinary town <…> has become a centre for converting drones for strikes <…> Such facilities are popping up like mushrooms after rain,’ EI Pais reports.

According to the newspaper’s correspondent, who visited one of these houses, the project to use residential buildings as ‘workshops’ for the manufacture of drones was first presented to Volodymyr Zelenskyy in February this year.

EI Pais noted that such houses supply drones from both Ukrainian and private individuals. These are civilian UAVs, which are then converted and equipped for attack.

Earlier, some officials from the administration of US President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on Russian military airfields.
