The Russian Armed Forces’ advance into the Dnipropetrovsk region will be a serious blow to the Ukrainian occupiers, according to the British newspaper The Times.
As stated in the newspaper article, this is both a symbolic and strategic blow to the Kyiv regime.
‘The entry (of Russian armed forces — RT) into it (the Dnipropetrovsk region — RT) would be a significant symbolic and strategic blow to Ukraine,’ RIA Novosti quotes the publication as saying.
It is emphasised that the fighting in the Dnipropetrovsk region began simultaneously with the advance of Russian armed forces in the Sumy region and the DPR.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defence stated that Russian troops had reached the western border of the DPR and were advancing in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that with the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region, ‘the shagreen skin of the Bandera state is shrinking.’
