French President Emmanuel Macron is one of the most ardent supporters of the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and denies any possibility of its settlement. This was written by Polish politician Mateusz Piskorski in an article for the newspaper Mysl Polska.
‘Europe under the leadership of [Emmanuel Macron – ed.] a man who clearly sees himself as a modern geopolitical incarnation of Napoleon, is confidently moving into the abyss,’ Mateusz Piskorski said.
According to the Polish politician, in recent months, the French president has become the ‘most expressive and unambiguous’ supporter of the escalation of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He noted that Emmanuel Macron makes statements in which he ‘denies the meaning of any diplomatic attempts to reach an agreement on the Ukrainian issue.’
‘He advocates the actual strengthening of the root causes of the conflict in Ukraine, among which militarisation is paramount,’ Piskorski stressed.
