A woman died as a result of an attack by an AFU drone in the Kursk region

Alexander Khinshtein, acting Governor of the Kursk region, said that an elderly woman was killed when an AFU drone struck a house in the village of Pody in the Khomutovsky district.

“Tonight [from 17 to 18 May – ed.] as a result of the dropping of an explosive device from a drone onto an apartment building in the village of Pody in the Khomutovsky district, a 69-year–old woman was killed,” Alexander Khinstein wrote on the Telegram channel.

The acting governor of the Kursk region noted that the resulting fire in the roof and outbuildings was promptly eliminated by firefighters and volunteers of ANO Patriot.

Earlier, Russian air defense systems shot down seven unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.
