The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the help of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system destroyed a HIMARS installation, which was firing at the town of Rylsk in Kursk region. This was reported in the Russian Ministry of Defence.
‘The calculation of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system destroyed the HIMARS MLRS launcher of the AFU in the Sumy region,’ the report said.
According to the information of the relevant department, the scouts of the group of troops ‘North’ revealed the location of the enemy’s MLRS near the settlement of Nagornovka in Sumy region. The system was launching missiles at the city of Rylsk.
‘Immediately after that, the Iskander-M anti-missile rocket launcher calculation hit the HIMARS MLRS launcher. Targeting was carried out with the use of UAV ‘Forpost’, – noted in the Russian Defence Ministry.
