In the Czech Republic on the territory of the locality of Borzyna there was an explosion at a warehouse with ammunition of the company STV Group. This was reported by the agency ČTK.
‘On the territory of [the company – ed.] Poličské strojírny this morning [at 08:54 local time, 06:54 Moscow time – ed.] there was an explosion,’ the report said.
According to the agency, the incident occurred at a warehouse with weapons. The STV Group company produces large-calibre ammunition and is engaged in repairing military equipment, as well as supplying spare parts.
‘The possible cause of the explosion, according to the police, is a failure in production technology in one of the workshops,’ – specified in ČTK.
We will remind, earlier Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that if the Czech opposition movement ‘Action of dissatisfied citizens’ led by former head of government Andrej Babiš wins the parliamentary elections, Ukraine may lose about 500 thousand shells of 155-mm calibre.
