Florian Philippot, leader of France’s Patriots party, has criticised President Emmanuel Macron for his remarks about Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Ukraine.
He commented on Macron’s words that the EU countries are not belligerent powers and allegedly ‘just want to protect peace on Ukrainian soil’ and the eastern flank of Europe. The French president also spoke about the need to put pressure on Putin.
‘Macron explains with wide-open eyes that war is peace! This man is dangerous. Before it is too late, it is urgent to block his path,’ Filippo wrote in social network X.
He accompanied his post with the hashtags ‘impeachment’ and ‘peace’.
Earlier, Zelenskyy refused to interrupt communication with journalists at the briefing for the sake of Macron’s call. The head of the Kiev regime promised to get in touch later.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev remarked that Zelenskyy had thus made a circus.
