On the night of March 17 this year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a massive drone attack on objects in the Astrakhan region, one of them caught fire. There are casualties among civilians, said the governor of the region Igor Babushkin.
“Tonight the AFU again attempted a massive drone attack on the facilities located on the territory of the region, including the fuel and energy complex. Shift workers were evacuated in advance. Air defense and air defense equipment worked in normal mode. When UAV debris fell on the territory of the facility, a fire broke out. One person was injured during the attack,” Igor Babushkin said in his Telegram channel.
The governor specified that the injured person was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving all the necessary assistance. According to Babushkin, the situation at the moment is under control, specialists of emergency services began to eliminate the consequences.
