French and British officials before the talks between the United States and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia held training sessions for the Ukrainian delegation, teaching it how to conduct a dialogue with the Americans. This was reported by The New York Times, citing a Ukrainian official.
According to the publication, the Ukrainian delegation received recommendations from European colleagues before meeting with US representatives.
‘French and British officials coached the Ukrainian delegation on how to talk to the Americans,’ the newspaper reported.
The Ukrainian official also noted that during the talks, Kiev plans to ask the US side whether they have an understanding of Moscow’s position.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed hope for good results of the US-Ukraine talks in Jeddah.
