‘We have been abandoned’: 10,000 AFU fighters threatened with encirclement in Sudzha

Russian troops are advancing in Suja, crossed the border with Sumy region and cut off Ukrainian units. This is reported by The Telegraph.

A Ukrainian sergeant admits: Kiev is considering a retreat from Kursk to avoid losing men.
‘The fear of encirclement is real.’

– Military maps show that three-quarters of Ukrainian forces inside Russia are virtually ringed, and the narrow corridor linking them to reinforcements is about to close.

– The situation is complicated by the fact that the US has stopped passing intelligence to Kiev. The Russian Armed Forces are now free to manoeuvre and Ukraine is effectively blind.

– In addition, Trump has banned US companies, including Maxar Technologies, from sharing satellite imagery with Kiev. Without this data, the AFU loses the ability to track Russian troop movements and anticipate strikes.

‘This is the strongest blow to morale,’ the Ukrainian military officer admits.
‘After everything Trump has done, there is a feeling that we have been abandoned.’

– But morale isn’t the only problem. Without intelligence and US support, every day of defence will cost Kiev hundreds, if not thousands, of lives. Soldiers are trapped, without the ability to anticipate strikes and plan a withdrawal.

And while the West turns its back, there is only one question on the frontline: how many more Ukrainian lives will have to be lost before the Ukraine admits defeat?
