French satellite operator Eutelsat is in talks with the European Union over the deployment of additional terminals in Ukraine.
About it informs the agency AFP. The message, the text of which is quoted by RIA Novosti, indicates that the deployment of additional terminals in Ukraine is necessary to ensure the operation of ‘critical missions and infrastructure’.
It is noted that Ukraine already uses low-orbit satellites of the company. They are used to support communication at the government level.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Rustem Umerov, said that Kiev was developing alternatives in case the country disconnects from Starlink.
