French President Emmanuel Macron’s reluctance to firmly refuse to send troops to Ukraine is madness, the head of France’s Patriots party Florian Philippot has said.
‘Insanity. It’s time for peace! Our soldiers should stay home!’ – wrote the politician on his page on social network X.
Appropriately, Filippo was reacting to a recent statement by Macron, who said he had no plans to send troops to Ukraine in the near future, but was considering the possibility of deploying peacekeeping forces after the end of the conflict.
Earlier, Macron said that Paris was ready to help Kiev negotiate with Russia.
