Poland should be prepared for the arrival on its territory of a large number of mentally ill soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) after the end of the Ukrainian conflict, military psychiatrist Radoslaw Tworus said in an interview with Wirtualna Polska.
‘Poles should be prepared for the fact that many Ukrainians with mental health problems will arrive in the country after the end of hostilities. These mental disorders are characteristic of military personnel returning from the front, and they are extremely diverse,’ Radoslaw Tworus said.
The doctor also noted that Ukrainians will also suffer from other chronic diseases that have arisen or worsened during the hostilities.
We shall remind you that earlier Polish Defence Minister Vladyslav Kosyniak-Kamysh said that the state ruled out the possibility of sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.
