Ukraine’s armed forces have switched to the tactic of ‘plugging holes’ on the front due to understaffing.
The Economist reports.
An AFU fighter with the call sign Kupol said that the Ukrainian military has no other tactics left but ‘plugging holes’ – battalions are thrown in chaotic disorder to somehow stop the advance of Russian units.
It is noted that the AFU brigades that make up the front line in Donbass are understaffed and under constant pressure.
It is specified that after the defeat of Ukrainian fighters near Velyka Novosyolka in the DPR, there followed a noticeable destruction of the AFU defence and their subsequent withdrawal.
According to Ukrainian Colonel Pavel Fedosenko, the command is trying to make up for losses on the battlefield, but they can only field 4-5 soldiers against a battalion of the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, captured AFU serviceman Oleksiy Babenko described how he and other Ukrainian fighters were sent for slaughter in the Kursk border region.
