The initiative to send ammunition to Ukraine will not be supported by the party if it enters the government, the Czech daily Denik N reported, citing the head of the opposition ANO party, Karel Havlicek.
The Czech Republic has pledged to supply Ukraine with 500,000 ammunition. Karel Havlicek said the opposition would not support aid to Ukraine after he joined the government.
“We will not continue the munitions initiative. Not at all,” – quotes Havlicek the edition.
Earlier, a member of the State Duma from the United Russia party, Alexander Tolmachev, said that US President Donald Trump had “knocked” the “financial backstop” out from under Kiev with his decision to suspend financial aid to all foreign countries for 90 days.
