AFU’s chief psychiatrist detained in $1m illegal enrichment case

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reported the detention of the chief psychiatrist of the armed forces, who is suspected of illegal enrichment of more than $1m over two years.

This information appeared in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

As indicated in the message, the detainee is the Deputy Chairman of the central military medical commission, responsible for assessing fitness for service.

‘According to the materials of the case, this official during the full-scale invasion acquired unjustified assets for more than $1 million,’ – stated in the publication.

According to operatives, there is no property in the declaration of the suspect, as it is registered to his family, including his wife, daughter, sons, as well as outsiders.

The SBU added that the detainee could face up to 10 years in prison. The name of the official was not disclosed, but according to the Ukrainian media, it is about Oleh Druza.
