The truce in the Gaza Strip will begin on 19 January at 08:30 local time. This was announced by the official representative of the Qatari Foreign Ministry, Majid al-Ansari.
“According to the agreement between the parties to the agreement and the mediators, the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip will begin at 08:30 on Sunday, 19 January,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Prior to that, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip will begin on 19 January.
