Employees of the French Navy have disclosed through a fitness app secret data on the duty of nuclear submarines with strategic nuclear weapons. This was reported by the newspaper Le Monde.
The newspaper specified that the data was disclosed using Strava, an app that allows sports results to be published online.
‘Our investigation shows that several submariners inadvertently disclose on the Internet information about the pace of patrol SNLE [nuclear submarines with third-generation ballistic missiles – ed.]’, – is written in the publication.
