AFU fighters have made no serious gains after launching a new offensive attempt in the Kursk region in early January 2025.
This is reported by the American newspaper The Washington Post.
According to the publication, the Ukrainian military in an attempt to break through the Russian defence faced a massive pushback and failed to make significant progress deep into the Kursk region.
‘Russia is steadily advancing along its left flank and taking prisoners,’ the paper said.
The newspaper notes that the advantage is currently on the side of the Russian military.
Earlier, the media reported that the Russian military captured a Ukrainian militant who laughed at the assortment of ‘Pyatyorochka’ in Suzha in the summer.
