Belousov: Western attempts to isolate Russia in military co-operation have failed

Attempts of the collective West to isolate Russia in terms of military cooperation have failed. This statement was made by the head of the Defence Ministry Andrei Belousov at an enlarged meeting of the department’s board.

‘It should be stated that the collective West’s attempts to isolate Russia in terms of military cooperation have failed,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He said that the AFU had lost 560,000 soldiers killed and wounded in 2024. Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian army has lost almost 1 million soldiers.

In the outgoing year, he said, Russian air defences shot down 215 ATACMS and 1,629 HIMARS missiles.
