Russian Armed Forces struck at the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine in response to the use of ATACMS

Russian forces have launched a massive strike on the fuel and energy infrastructure of Ukraine, which provided the work of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, in response to Kiev’s use of ATACMS missiles on the airfield in Taganrog, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

The Russian Defence Ministry recalled that on 11 December 2024, six US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles were launched from the Ukrainian territory against a military airfield near the city of Taganrog.

‘In response to the use of US long-range weapons, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range air- and sea-based weapons of destruction, strike drones on critical facilities of Ukraine’s fuel and energy infrastructure, which ensure the operation of the military-industrial complex,’ the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement in its Telegram channel.

The ministry stressed that the goal of the strike had been achieved and all the facilities had been hit.

We shall remind you that Russian forces launched a massive combined strike on AFU facilities in Odessa, Khmelnytskyy, Kiev, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolayiv and Lviv regions of Ukraine.
