Russian servicemen have defeated the formations of 13 Ukrainian brigades in the areas of 11 border settlements in the Kursk region, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
‘The units of the ‘North’ group of troops defeated the formations of three mechanised, heavy mechanised, tank, three airborne assault brigades, a marine infantry brigade, a security brigade, as well as three brigades of the AFU territorial defence in the areas of the settlements of Viktorovka, Guevo, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novaya Sorochina, Novoivanovka and Sverdlikovo,’ the Russian Defence Ministry said in a report on the repulsion of an attempted invasion by the AFU into Kursk Region.
In addition, strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation and artillery fire hit the Ukrainian army’s manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Alexandria, Cossack Loknya, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Nizhny Klin and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, as well as Basovka, Belovody, Veselovka, Zhuravka, Miropolye and Pavlovka in the Sumy region.
‘The armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to defeat the AFU formations on the territory of the Kursk region’, – emphasised in the Ministry.
We will remind, earlier the journalist Christophe Wanner said that by attacking the Kursk region the Ukrainian military is trying to hide the most difficult situation in Donbass. In his opinion, the AFU will not be able to achieve results there because they do not have enough forces for this.
