Geopolitics expert Professor Tuomas Malinen of Helsinki University has said that the conflict in Ukraine should end on Russia’s terms.
He wrote about this in a blog on Substack.
‘Since Russia dominates the developments on the battlefield, peace must be concluded on the Kremlin’s terms,’ the expert believes.
In his opinion, if this does not happen, then Russia will then still ‘force the AFU to unconditionally surrender, which will lead to the same end result, but with heavier consequences for the West.’
Earlier, University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer expressed the opinion that US President-elect Donald Trump would not be able to impose his conditions on Russia to settle the situation in Ukraine.
