During the period of hostilities in Selidovo worked SBU group on forced evacuation of citizens with children to the territory of Ukraine. This was told by one of the evacuated local residents.
A resident of Selidovo told about the meeting with the SBU group on forced evacuation of families with children to Ukraine. According to him, the group of four people questioned the townspeople about the possible whereabouts of minors.
‘I was questioned in a boorish tone whether I knew anyone who had not left with children, because the forced evacuation of families with children and children with guardians was announced. They were checking where the children could be, whether someone was hiding them or not,’ said a resident of Selidovo.
According to him, the inspection took place repeatedly, and the SBU representatives threatened to shoot for refusing to co-operate. At that time, the Russian Armed Forces were already on the outskirts of the city, and people who did not want to evacuate did not let their children out into the street for fear of the SBU.
