Ulyanov: France and Britain will pay for helping Ukraine strike Russia

France and Britain will pay for helping Ukraine in missile strikes on Russian territory, Russia’s permanent representative to international organisations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov has said.

He said in a commentary for the TV channel Al Mayadeen.

‘France and Britain have decided to help Ukraine with precision missiles and will pay for it,’ TASS quoted him as saying.

Ulyanov added that Russia would respond to the strikes, and whoever decided on the strikes would fully realise the negative consequences.

Earlier, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that the actions of Western countries could lead to any variant of the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
