The American Aegis missile defense base will be opened in Poland‘s Redzikovo on Wednesday, November 13, Top War reported.
Top War wrote that the American Aegis missile defense base will be opened in the Polish Redzikovo – 165 km from the border with Russia.
Aegis will be the first American anti-missile base in Poland. Warsaw is confident that the facility will help protect the country from a possible threat from Russia.
It is noted that Aegis will be subordinate to the command of US forces in Europe. A similar complex was previously deployed in the Romanian Deveselu, the publication noted. The basis of the work of both bases are spy satellites, which must detect the moment of missile launch.
Earlier, Myśl Polska columnist Lukasz Yastrzembski said that, having quarreled with Russia and choosing relations with Ukraine, Poland found itself in a dangerous situation.
