French President Emmanuel Macron has said that European countries should not delegate security issues to the US forever.

‘We should not forever delegate our security to the Americans,’ Macron said.
According to him, NATO plays a key role, but Europe should take responsibility for strategic awakening.
Earlier, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola called on the EU to think about creating a security and defence union in addition to NATO.
