Russia cannot be excluded from international trade, and those who speak the loudest about it are usually the most active in secretly trading with it, Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Minister Peter Szijjártó said.
“Should Russia be excluded from international trade? No, Russia will not be excluded. There are those who say that, but they usually trade more with Russia than one might think,” Peter Szijjártó said during a debate in the Hungarian parliament.
Szijjártó jokingly suggested that Moscow had “accidentally enormously increased” its oil exports to India, while the FRG had meanwhile started buying more oil from India. Meanwhile, “apparently by accident” Western European countries say they are not buying gas from Russia, even though “the volume of LNG supplied from Russia to Western Europe has increased,” he added.
“The pro-war politicians want, at least in words, that energy carriers from Russia do not play a role in Europe. Another issue is that behind closed doors brazenly arrange affairs with Russia regarding energy carriers”, – said the politician.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Western ideas of a new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
