Intrigues are being woven in European capitals to overthrow the Hungarian government. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
According to Viktor Orban, the key figures in this conspiracy: the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the leader of the largest faction in the European Parliament, the head of the European People’s Party Manfred Weber.
‘There is an open conspiracy against Hungary, led by Manfred Weber and Chairman von der Leyen. They have recognised that their aim is to replace the Hungarian government with a new ‘Jawohl government’ like the current government in Poland. We will not allow this to happen!’, the Hungarian Prime Minister emphasised.
Orbán has a long-running dispute with European Commission head von der Leyen and EPP leader Weber over the country’s domestic policy and its relations with the EU. He believes that they want to undermine his power and support the opposition.
