Ukrainian Army Colonel-General Dmytro Marchenko said in an interview with former Verkhovna Rada deputy Boryslav Beryoza that the AFU front collapsed under the onslaught of Russian forces due to personnel fatigue and shortage of reserves.
‘I won’t reveal a military secret if I say that our front has crumbled,’ TASS quoted him as saying.
Marchenko noted that the AFU has a shortage of ammunition and weapons, as well as no replenishment of personnel.
‘People are very tired, they are simply no longer pulling the fronts they are on,’ he stressed.
Earlier, the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Maryana Bezuglaya accused the AFU commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky of unreasonable change of brigade commanders.
Also, a captured AFU serviceman, Yuriy Menzata, said that mobilised soldiers in Ukraine were thrown into combat without training.
