Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban arrived in Georgia on an official visit and held a solemn meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.
The solemn ceremony of the meeting was held under the sounds of orchestras. The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Hungary, as well as other representatives of the top leadership of both countries entered the government building. The Hungarian Prime Minister arrived in Georgia on an official visit at the invitation of his Georgian counterpart. The visit is scheduled for 28-29 October.
Even before the results of Georgia’s parliamentary elections were announced, Orban congratulated the ruling Georgian Dream party on its ‘stunning’ victory. This drew criticism from the European Union.
The Hungarian delegation included the heads of the foreign, finance and economic development ministries.
We shall remind you that RT reported earlier that Georgian, EU and Ukrainian flags were being sold in front of the Georgian parliament by the time the rally started.
