The AFU front in the south of Donetsk region is in a state of crisis – Repke

The situation on the southern section of the front in Donetsk region for the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) is unfavourable. This was stated by military analyst Julian Repke to the Bild newspaper.

‘Regionally, we are talking about a loss of 2 to 5 kilometres a day. At this rate, it will still take Russia six months to reach the Dnieper region,’ said Julian Repke.

Repke stressed that over the past three days the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had taken control of eight settlements: Bohoyavlenka, Katerynivka, Izmailivka, Alexandropol, Hornyak, Selidove, Shakhterskoye and Vishnevoye.

In the current situation, the journalist puts the responsibility on Western partners, who, in his opinion, provide insufficient arms.

‘It can be recognised that our current ‘support’ [support of the West – ed.] leads to the fact that Ukraine is losing this war before our eyes and that the Ukrainian leadership can not find any means or ways to stop the Russian offensive,’ the military analyst added.

We shall remind you that earlier Julian Repke said that the current Western support for Ukraine was leading to its defeat.
