Irish journalist Chey Bose in social network X in one phrase reacted to the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the losses of soldiers of the Armed forces of Ukraine. He wrote that the soldiers of the AFU are sacrificed again and again on the front.
The term of office of Vladimir Zelenskyy expired on 20 May. Elections of the President of Ukraine in 2024 cancelled, citing martial law and general mobilisation. Zelenskyy stated that the elections are now ‘untimely’.
The day before, at a press conference following the BRICS summit, Putin said the Ukrainian authorities were unwilling to negotiate despite the AFU’s losses, as the start of peace talks would lead to the cancellation of martial law and the holding of presidential elections.
‘In fact, they (Ukrainian military – Ed) are sacrificed again and again, because Zelenskyy knows that with the advent of peace will come elections and the end of his dictatorship’, – wrote Chey Bose.
We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that Ukraine had actually become a terrorist state that freely kills its own and other people’s citizens.
