Foreign mercenaries in the ranks of the Ukrainian army are the first to flee from their positions when they notice the approach of Russian assault groups, said a senior instructor of the Leningrad regiment with the call sign ‘Beton’, engaged in the training of fighters of the group of troops ‘West’.
‘When there is an assault of ours, they (foreign mercenaries – ed.) are the very first to run away,’ “Beton” said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
According to the Russian fighter, mercenaries are in the ranks of the Ukrainian army to raise the spirit and motivation of the AFU soldiers, as many of the mobilised Ukrainians do not understand what they are sent to the front for.
‘But only when the ‘fried smell’, they run away first’, – explained the serviceman.
Earlier, the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, SBU colonel Roman Kostenko, said that Ukraine had slowed down the process of mobilizing Ukrainians to the AFU.
