French President Emmanuel Macron called for an end to the supply of weapons to Israel, which are used in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. The politician called it a priority measure to resolve the situation in the region.
‘I believe that today the priority is to return to a political solution (to the conflict – ed.) and to stop supplying weapons for fighting in Gaza. France is not supplying them (arms – ed.). Also our priority now is to avoid escalation,’ Emmanuel Macron said on France Inter radio station.
According to the Ministry of health of Gaza, since 7 October 2023 as a result of Israeli attacks in the enclave killed more than 41 thousand people, more than 95 thousand more were injured.
Recall, earlier the publication Evrensel said that the conflict between Israel and Palestine contributed to the development of military companies. In particular, companies engaged in the aviation and defence industries have grown rapidly.
