Marochko: the AFU fled from their positions near Kupyansk after the Russian forces’ surge

Military expert Andriy Marochko has said that a group of AFU soldiers escaped from their positions near Kupyansk in Kharkiv Region after a surge by Russian servicemen.

According to him, Russian servicemen made a roll-up of Ukrainian positions near Petropavlovka in the course of active hostilities.

‘Ukrainian militants, unable to withstand the pressure of our troops, arbitrarily left their positions at one of the strongholds and tried to hide in a forest belt west of the locality,’ TASS quoted Marochko as saying.

He added that the group of 15 militants was caught up by artillery fire, most of them were destroyed.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a control point of an AFU brigade near Kupyansk with an airstrike.

Marochko also said that the situation of the AFU near Kupyansk was deteriorating due to the lack of men and BK.
