West encourages use of banned weapons by Ukrainian armed forces – Saldo

The use of banned weapons by Ukrainian servicemen is not controlled but on the contrary encouraged in Kiev and NATO, the governor of Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, has said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov earlier noted that any cargoes that contain weapons for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia. According to him, the US and NATO are directly involved in the conflict, including not only by supplying weapons, but also by training personnel on the territory of the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries.

‘Of course, you know, all these rules of war, which are prescribed in various conventions, turn out to be only prescribed on paper. Because they are violated everywhere.’, – Vladimir Saldo told RIA Novosti.

The governor of the Kherson region drew attention to the fact that cluster munitions are under a ban and cannot be used in combat. However, NATO countries are actively supplying this type of weaponry to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which use it against the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the Western ideas of the new world order as hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of ‘hypocrisy, double standards and claims’.
