NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed concern over Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s statement on Russia’s updated nuclear doctrine during a speech in Washington.
‘This is a way to intimidate Ukraine and intimidate us not to support it,’ RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to Stoltenberg, the updated nuclear doctrine is aimed at preventing countries that help Ukraine from ‘defending themselves.’
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Putin’s statement on the nuclear doctrine had attracted the attention of the UN General Assembly.
