The director of the Ukrainian Institute of Politics, Ruslan Bortnyk, has said that some brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not received weapons for more than two years.
About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to the Ukrainian edition Politeka.
‘Ukraine has 14 unarmed brigades, one of them has been in such a state since its formation in 2022,’ the agency quoted him as saying.
Bortnik also noted that if the US government does not provide Kiev with what Vladimir Zelensky needs to continue the conflict, the front line could shift to Dnipropetrovsk region by 1 December.
In his opinion, the conflict will end in two years at the earliest, and the front line will become even longer by that time.
Earlier, the Financial Times reported that the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was concerned about heavy losses and the fact that the recruits were poorly trained and lacked motivation.
