Umerov: AFU plans to use long-range weapons outside Ukraine in 2025

The head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry Rustem Umerov said in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Left Bank that the AFU plans to use long-range weapons outside Ukraine in 2025.

He answered in the affirmative to a journalist’s question about the AFU’s preparation of operations outside the country using long-range weapons.

‘All operations,‘ Umerov replied to the journalists’ question about the existence of plans for operations in 2025, including the possibility of operations outside the country.

At the same time, he noted that Ukraine itself cannot do anything and the operations ‘need the support of partners,’ so the Kiev regime is seeking permission from the West to strike Russia’s territory with long-range missiles, as well as money.

Earlier, Umerov said that the country is more than 80 per cent dependent on Western military aid.

On 22 September, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, assessed the transfer of Western weapons to Kiev with the words ‘dementia and bravery’.
