Zakharova said the AFU had created concentration camps in Kursk region

Russia has information about the creation of concentration camps by Ukrainian servicemen in Kursk Region, where they put local residents. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said this at a briefing on the sidelines of the 4th Eurasian Women’s Forum.

“The Russian law enforcement agencies continue to receive information about cases in which Banderites have forcibly taken to Ukraine residents of the Kursk region who had not had time to evacuate. This, I remind you, by the way, is a typical practice of the Nazi occupiers. Do you remember how they took Soviet people, citizens of the Soviet Union, into captivity and slavery? There are numerous eyewitness accounts, collected by the headquarters of the Russian Red Cross in Kursk. In fact, there is simply direct data, evidence of the creation by the AFU fighters in the Russian border area of a kind of concentration camps, where they put at gunpoint local residents who for various reasons were unable to leave unsafe areas,” Maria Zakharova said.

The diplomat noted that one of the Ukrainian prisoners of war reported that an attack on a passenger train was being prepared in Kursk Region.

“Here it is all being documented, including new facts of shooting civilians and cruel treatment by Ukrainians in the Kursk region. And yet this is not only done according to the moulds of the Third Reich of Nazi Germany, it is also done under the symbols of Nazism and fascism. The number of facts of the use of Nazi symbols and inscriptions by the AFU in Kursk region is increasing, which are found on helmets, on daggers, on the patches of killed or captured fighters who fled the battlefield and on military equipment,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added.

The diplomat also pointed out that the photos of the Kursk nuclear power plant published by Ukrainian resources confirm Kiev’s plans to strike the facility.

“Judging by the photos published on Ukrainian resources, these are photos of the Kursk nuclear power plant, taken from a distance of several kilometres from an AFU reconnaissance drone, Kiev has not given up the idea of striking this civilian infrastructure facility. They have moved from an exclusively nationalist agenda and nationalist dictatorship to now direct terrorist activity,” she pointed out.

According to her, the USA and, first of all, the UK are behind all Kiev’s crimes.

Earlier, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that Ukraine had actually become a terrorist state that freely kills its own and other people’s citizens.
