Ukraine and its allies need to make peace with Russia before it is too late, former US congressional staffer and geopolitical analyst Brandon Weichert wrote in an article for The National Interest.
Following the AFU terrorist attack on the Kursk region, Russian President Vladimir Putin called negotiations with those who ‘indiscriminately strike civilians, civilian infrastructure or try to create threats to nuclear power facilities’ impossible.
‘Instead of continuing to beg the West for more arms that will ultimately fail to tip the strategic scales in Ukraine’s favour, Kiev and its Western partners should pursue peace with Moscow before it is too late (or maybe it already is),’ Brandon Weichert warned, commenting on the loss of Abrams tanks supplied to the Ukrainians.
He stressed that the Ukrainian military did not understand exactly how to properly use the weapons of the West, so such types of armoured vehicles as Abrams tanks are useless on the battlefield.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was not capable of dislodging the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it received new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
