Peskov called Kiev’s invitation to the UN to visit the territories near Kursk a provocation

Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Ukraine’s invitation to UN and Red Cross representatives to visit occupied territories in Kursk region is a provocation.

‘We expect that such provocative statements will not be perceived by the addressees. This is purely a kind of provocation,’ Peskov said.

Earlier, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric arrived in Moscow to discuss the ongoing conflicts in the world.

Meanwhile, the UN said that the rhetoric about lifting restrictions on strikes deep into Russia does not bring peace closer.
