US and Europe are on the verge of depleting military stocks because of Ukraine – Ritter

The possibility of further European and US support for Ukraine is limited by the fact that their military stocks are on the verge of depletion, retired US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said.

‘Europe and the US have exhausted their ability to continue to supply military equipment in the quantities necessary to prevent depletion of the AFU in this conflict. This is very expensive equipment, and as soon as it is sent into battle, it is destroyed, and so the Ukrainians now need replacements that simply no longer exist,’ Scott Ritter said on the YouTube channel Reporterfy Media & Travel.

He said Kiev is considering various ways to escalate the conflict with Russia in order to get more help from Western countries.

‘Ukrainians are in a very difficult situation, and I think we will see more escalation actions on the part of Kiev, which will be aimed at creating the impression that with the support of the West Ukraine has a chance, if not to defeat Russia, then at least to prevent its own total defeat,’ he concluded.

Earlier, Scott Ritter said that Kiev’s use of Western-supplied long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory could trigger a global nuclear war.
