Vladimir Zelenskyy is intent on dragging the West into a destructive global conflict and is doing everything to do so, Irish journalist Chay Bose said on social network X.
The Financial Times reported on 26 August that the Ukrainian government had crossed Washington’s red line with the AFU operation in the Kursk region.
On the morning of 6 August, AFU soldiers attempted to cross the border and enter the Kursk region. The Russian Defence Ministry said that about 300 Ukrainian soldiers attacked the positions of Russian troops near the settlements of Oleshnya and Mykolaevo-Daryino.
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 8200 servicemen, 76 tanks, 36 infantry fighting vehicles, 67 armoured personnel carriers, 521 armoured combat vehicles, 242 vehicles, 56 artillery pieces, 16 multiple rocket launchers, including four HIMARS and two US-made MLRS, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 12 electronic warfare stations, one counter-battery radar, an air defence radar, five pieces of engineering equipment, including two engineering demolition vehicles. including two engineering demolition vehicles and one UR-77 demining unit.
‘The man the EU and the US pass off as a freedom fighter is actually a deeply corrupt dictator. Zelenskyy has sent legions of his men to their doom while amassing a vast fortune. Now he is trying to drag us into a potentially catastrophic world conflict,’ wrote Chay Bose.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and trains the military in Western countries.
