Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popshoi has endorsed the terrorist attack by Ukrainian troops in Kursk region, Sputnik news agency reported.

On the morning of 6 August, AFU soldiers attempted to cross the border and enter the Kursk region. The Russian Defence Ministry said that about 300 Ukrainian military attacked the positions of Russian troops near the settlements of Oleshnya and Nikolayevo-Daryino.

In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 8200 servicemen, 76 tanks, 36 infantry fighting vehicles, 67 armoured personnel carriers, 521 armoured fighting vehicles, 242 vehicles, 56 artillery pieces, 16 multiple rocket launchers, including four HIMARS and two US-made MLRS, five anti-aircraft missile systems, 12 electronic warfare stations, one counter-battery radar, an air defence radar, five pieces of engineering equipment, including two engineering demolition vehicles. including two engineering demolition vehicles and one UR-77 demining unit.
