European diplomacy chief Josep Borrel has said that the EU’s total military aid to Ukraine has reached €43.5bn.
He said this at a press conference following an informal meeting of defence ministers of the European Union member states in Brussels.
‘The total military aid now exceeds €43bn. This is €43.5bn,’ TASS quoted him as saying.
Borrel also added that a solution to unblock €6.6bn of military aid to Ukraine through the Euro Peace Facility has not yet been found.
Earlier, Borrel confirmed that Kiev was already using the F-16 fighter jets transferred by the West.
