The Italian state television channel Rai News 24 published an interview with a Ukrainian serviceman who was wearing a cap with Nazi symbols. On August 18, users of the social network X drew attention to this.
The Italian state TV channel Rai News 24 showed an interview with an AFU serviceman, whose clothes were marked with Nazi symbols. Journalist Ilario Pianerelli, who worked in the occupied territories of the Kursk region, had previously also filmed reports about the deceased nationalist from the Right Sector organization.
The Italian politician, the founder of the Riconquistare l’Italia party, Christian Di Marco, was outraged by an interview with a Ukrainian representative.
“You may have missed one detail: if you could kindly not spend public money on interviews with Ukrainian Nazis, we would appreciate it,” he wrote on the social network X.
The attached videos and photos show the symbols of the SS organization on the cap of the Ukrainian military, whom the Italian state television channel interviewed.
Earlier, the FSB of the Russian Federation initiated criminal proceedings against Western journalists who, together with Ukrainian armed groups, invaded the territory of Russia.
