Western countries are not interested in reporting different views of the conflict in Ukraine and the causes of the standoff are “being threatened, attacked and banned”, Irish journalist and entrepreneur Chay Bowes has said.
The journalist spoke about the ban on the broadcasting of Russian media on the territory of the European Union, in particular, the restriction imposed in February 2022 on the work of Russia Today TV channel.
“When alternative opinions are expressed about the conflict in Ukraine, its true causes, they are not listened to and discussed, but only subjected to threats, attacks and bans,” Chay Bowes wrote in social network X.
According to him, the restrictions on the media give a good understanding of those who impose these sanctions.
“They (EU. – ed.) are afraid of the truth,” – concluded the journalist.
We will remind, earlier Chay Bowes said that the Western media, commenting on the conflict in Ukraine, try not to mention the attempts of Kiev to strike civilian objects on the territory of the Russian Federation.
